It had been about 20 years since I first had a trust and will produced. I wanted to find a local estate planning attorney, and a friend referred me to Lauren. I’m so happy for that referral because Lauren was the best choice I could have hoped for. Knowledgeable, thorough, detail-oriented, professional, and very pleasant to work with, Lauren is an excellent communicator and quite patient in explaining details. I also appreciated that she took the initiative to provide recommendations to issues I hadn’t considered. She produced a high-quality and well organized estate planning portfolio, including easy-to-follow instructions on how to manage my estate. My wife and I were looking for a trust attorney and were referred to Lauren by good friends who had worked with her on their trust. We were very pleased with Lauren's thoroughness throughout the process and for making the whole topic understandable for a lay-person. She is very organized and communicates regularly and clearly. Lauren is great. Given the context is legal, she keeps it very straight-forward and she knows her stuff. What I imagined to be a painful process turned out to be quite progressive and easy going (outside the obvious burden of thinking about the worst-case scenarios). If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I am so thankful for Lauren and what she was able to accomplish for me in such a short timeframe. Sadly, my Dad passed away in December and luckily he had a trust which showed his home was put in it. A few years after he did the trust he did a refinance and had to take it out of the trust to complete and unfortunately forgot to put back in the trust name when it was complete. He lived in Southern California and his trust attorney told me about having to file a heggstad petition but that it would take 6-7 months because courts in that county were backed up due to Covid. Thank goodness I was referred to Lauren who got the entire process done for me in less than 10 days!!!!! Lauren was great to work with, very professional, sharp, knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. I highly recommend Lauren!

I needed a Heggstad petition so I contacted Lauren Rios. She sent me some links that made it very easy to upload the documents she needed for the petition. She estimated that it would take between 1 and 2 weeks to get the petition, which was a lot sooner than I could get it in my county. However, she was able to get the petition to me in only a few business days which was excellent! I highly recommend the Law Office of Lauren Rios.

I can't say enough good things about Lauren and her firm. I'm involved in a very difficult estate. They filed a heggstad petition and had it approved by the court in less than 10 days from our first conversation. That's very fast, even pre covid.
